What I did

During my coursework at the UNC Hussman School of Media and Journalism, I had to work in a group to create a campaign plan for a nonprofit. My group and I chose to create a campaign plan for the Make-A-Wish foundation. The goal of our campaign was to increase small donations to the organization by positioning it as the first choice for charitable contributions, especially among men with children. We believed men with children were important because Make-A-Wish relies on small donors, and mostly women currently donate.
